Dutifully, I take the gift, careful not to bruise it, and jot down all the pertinents that have come with it as attachments:
- the main protag,
- the major tribulations,
- the major conflict,
- the crisis,
- the end,
- the kicker,
- the potential love liaison,
- two children,
- several furry or hairy creatures
…along with some unmentionables because I’m not telling anyone what the story’s about until after it’s written.
Then I jot down the scenes, short video clips that also came along with the ripe fruit –teasers. There’s the audio that came, too – bits of dialogue.
Okay. Now I put that nice piece of fruit inside the time preserver so it neither rots nor ripens further. …And, it’s back to the discipline of doing what I next need to do, that is, final this book first.
