		<description>Which is the big old elepant in the room that prevents self-publishing becoming respectable.  Anybody can do it.  There&#039;s no way around it and that sad fact won&#039;t change.

While I have self-pubbed (as you know), I&#039;m really trying to get an agent and/or mainstream publisher.  

I&#039;d also posit that many micropresses are the equivalent to self-pubbing in re: getting distribution or recognition.  There are some decent small presses, but I don&#039;t happen to be affiliated with any of those - only the other kind.</description>
