Back from Summer Hiatus

Category: My Life & Times | 3 Comments

Coming back after a long summer hiatus, the first thing that strikes me is The Net Hasn’t Changed. At all. The second thing that strikes me is that writers haven’t changed…at all. (The industrious ones are still working hard, more than willing to hone their craft and perfect their manuscripts; the lazy ones are still posting their unedited crap, then asking others to edit, grammar- and spell-check.) The third thing that strikes me is that, hmm, maybe I need to update this website…make it better.

Great to have you back in the blogging world. I’ve missed your insight & conversation. Hope you had a wonderful summer!

YOU should talk. You just up and disappeared for months…same as me. Very unlike you, you know. You aren’t normally that quiet. For a while I thought Palin had abducted you…until Marva chimed in and said, No, she’s injured. Concussion. Smacked her head on her husband’s…er…never mind.

    LOL LOL LOL LOL

Adding insult to injury, after healing my noggin I got an abscessed tooth. Treated with some wicked antibiotics (I’m allergic to penicillin), which caused three new and improved infections – which I’m still battling. Body seems to be giving up on me. Sigh. It’s hell getting old.

Palin – wish she’d abducted me. I’ve a thing or two to say to her.

In any event, I’m glad to “hear” from you again. Speaking of self-pubbing, I’m considering putting UTB up on Smashwords. Too sick right now to devote the energy, but in time. Done querying it.

    Liz
